Carry water, plan for heat and wind, and use designated cycling routes.

Crossing the border

El Paso connects with Ciudad Juárez through Paso del Norte, Stanton Street, Bridge of the Americas and Ysleta–Zaragoza ports of entry. Check which lanes and traveler types each port serves.

Check CBP wait times and official document requirements before crossing. SENTRI lanes require the appropriate eligibility; hours and procedures can change.

Transit routes, fares and border procedures change. Confirm details with the operating agency before you travel.
